J.R.R Tolkien

J.R.R Tolkien was an author, who wrote for example The Hobbit, Lord of the rings and many other books about the fantasy land he created. He was born on January the third in 1882 and he died September the second in 1973. His full name is John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, his mothers name was  Mabel Tolkien, his fathers name was Arthur Tolkien and he had a Brother named Hilary Tolkien. 

He is most known for his books but he was also poet and philologist. He was married to the woman Edith Tolkien and he had four children with her. He worked as a university professor in english at Oxford University. 

Tolkien made a big print on literature with his books, they have inspired many other authors and many books and movies today are inspired by Tolkiens work. The books contain many fantasy creatures, for example dwarfs, elves and hobbits. 

Many people today are very interested in his book, and the lord of the rings and the hobbit has become a thing that most people know about. 

There are movies made from the books Tolkien wrote. The first movie, the fellowship of the ring, came out in 2001, The two towers in 2002 and the Return of the king in 2003. There is also movies about the hobbit. The book got split in to three movies and the last one came out in 2015.
